I been a client since the end of summer 2024.... I don't like how they keep asking you if you need clothes, shoes or hygiene and make a list for you and act like your gona get these things and nothing. why do they even ask for?? from what one of my case managers told me is that they can take us shopping and they get reimbursed.... but idk sounds like they might be taking themselves shopping and getting reimbursed for it. I came to this place at my lowest and left with bitter sweet solutions. While in the program I felt judged as there was no clear solution for me. I felt stereotyped by my ethnicity as I was not the typical black man they assumed me to be. My plight was of severe depression not addictions. This made me feel out of place in the program as I couldn't be helped with my real issues of suicide.
