Super Racist Landlord. It’s absolutely a guarantee that you will be treated better/worse based on the color of your skin. Not only is the property manager Nyela Richardson Constantly displaying this behavior, Even their own website says that they don’t hire white people. I’m pretty sure that’s illegal. They also have outside contractors do all their maintenance so nothing ever gets done. My washing machine hasn’t worked for months. Photos of the Villa Apartments. Building is filthy. Hallway rugs are molded and torn in many areas. Painting job needed. Garbage and bed bug items always in common areas due to tenants moving. Fire alarms go off and various times. Have patio with dead plants. Elevator sometimes broken. Moldy apartments due to leaks on 3rd and 4th floor. 2nd floor apartments too. I was visiting my brother today. Apparently he had a walk through. I was In the bedroom on the phone with my doctor. This lady knocks on the bedroom door and I ignore her for obvious reasons. She then goes to open the door, and turn on the lights. At which I had told her to leave because I was in the middle of something. Instead of leaving, she walks into the bedroom and as she looks over the closet, she says “I just need to make sure the closet is attached. Spent a month going back and forth via email (no one ever responds back to voicemails/phone calls.) The leasing agent Nathan M. was difficult to work with. I was ultimately denied after being on a waiting list, the whole process was like pulling teeth. I understand there is a process, but the application/approval was a huge tease.
