NEVER CONSIDER THIS PLACE FOR YOUR LOVED ONE – I have friends of the family who are currently in a lawsuit with them because the one family member that stayed there for rehabilitation got maggots - yes, I said maggots - from a wound that was neglected on their watch. They quickly transferred him out of there. Besides that horrible story, the place is dismal. Sure, take a tour, venture down the halls and look in the small, cheerless rooms. From the Administrator – It is most unfortunate someone would write something like this about our center. Community gives great care, promotes independence and if you ask the families and resident who live here they will tell you this is true. The building has looks good because it is good. The patients don't lay outside for hours or we would be in trouble with the state, that is not even logical. Tour the center, come see me and I will give the tour personally. Run from this place! – Let me make this clear that the only reason this place got two stars is because of the Aides and a few select RNs. WARNING: DO NOT LET LOOKS DECEIVE YOU HERE. This place was recently remodeled, and looks nice. It has a media room, but the computers rarely work, and the books are cast offs from someones basement. There are thousands of puzzles that no one uses though. So I guess if you like that sorta thing and don't mind being miserable otherwise, this place is for you.
