After my mom suffered a concussion, she was initially seen at a different facility and had a very negative experience. They spent the time pushing expensive supplements on us and other weird stuff. Dr. Geiger and staff are so kind. I have a TBI and PTSD. I didn't have to retell my story (you know when you see a new provider and you feel like you have to go over everything again?) because she READ MY CHART. Like ahead of time. It was clear she really cared for me as a human being. She was so knowledgeable and I felt hope. Worth the wait to see her for sure.
My experience of Community Neuropsychology was brief but quite negative. For perspective: I did interact with this organization as a fellow professional rather than as a patient. On the one occasion I tried to coordinate a referral for evaluation, I found the provider (name withheld to prevent this review from being ad hominem) at this company to be condescending, unprofessional, and flatly rude. Dr. Stabler and the staff are really great. I was nervous going to my first appointment, but they put me at ease and explained very well. Dr stabler put me at easy with his bedside manner.
