I have been in CMC communities for many years. I recently moved to a 55+ community right as they changed their payment mailing address to a new site in New York. Since then, it has been nothing but struggles trying to pay my HOA bill! This month i literally paid twice, neither payment has been cashed, and now I have a late fee. I had to pay by credit card for an additional $14.50 "convenience fee" i have been in communication with our local HOA staff, who confirmed the new lockbox has been a problem. Seems like this HOA is more concerned with inspecting and giving homeowners notices than fixing community areas that is starting to look like trash. Its crazy how they are quick to inspect and give notices about a lightbulb but can drag ass about an entire sidewalk that is literally full of dog poop, incorrectly placed trees, sloppy sidewalks, the list goes on and has been brought to their attention months ago.
