I was seen by Dr. Rory M. Smith at the CHOMP Emergency Department in Monterey on 11/05/2025 during a severe pain crisis related to a documented genetic condition. The visit lasted only minutes and felt immediately dismissive. Dr. Smith entered with five other people without introductions or any explanation. I was referred to the Wound Care Center as referred by my GP Physician for two problems: (1) ingrown toe nail surgery performed by a local podiatrist was not healing as quickly as in the past, and (2) Bleeding small wound to my nose that had been happening for months no matter what I tried to heal it. I thought it was strange that the WCC tried to call me before I even got home from the GP Physician's office. I went in there with bad mental problems. I have schizoaffective bipolar, which I can't control, which makes me kind of nasty to people when I am manic. Anyway, they were probably just mad at me, because they're too stupid to understand that I have a bad disease. I was pretty unmedicated much of the time I was there. I think I pissed them off so they sent me to this thing called IHelp (men's shelter program) instead of sending me to a mental hospital (so they tried to deliberately screw me over for petty personal reasons).
