During the fragile time of losing a loved one, I’d say Gentiva was a beautifully gloved hand that handled my family with care! From my 1st encounter with Nurse Cassandra, I was impressed. So personable and genuinely supportive. She walked me through “Hospice” and all they would provide. Then I talked with Mrs. Tanya Chavis, my father’s hospice nurse. She was a sweet soul! It was a horrible experience for my father. They did not order formula or supplies. Due to a lie that the nurse told, my father's supplies were held up. They could have called and told us so we could have provided the necessary formula and supplies for him. They said nothing just denied his order. The nurse was not professional at all. Kourtney Kliff was very unprofessional about the situation. She had no compassion for the fact that my dad had no formula. It has been 3 weeks now.No supplies. Leslie and her team at community home care and hospice have been AMAZING with this whole process from the beginning and even to this day even after my grandmother etherine passed still follow up on me and my moms well being with letters and guides on grieving steps and have been so wonderful since the beginning my family is forever grateful for all the compassion and care this team has shown to my grandmother and my family!
