My wife Patsy passed nov 5 2025. She has been with Gentiva hospice for 16 months.The care she received is above 5 stars.Aide Bridget is a Blessing and An Angel. She was the best way to start the day. Always sunshine in her heart! So compassionate!! Nurse Kelly gave me strength to face what was going to happen. She always encouraged me to tell how I felt. Kelly is a Excellent nurse!! In August my mother's health had deteriorated to the point we had to call upon hospice for assistance. The first hospice company we signed on with left us disheartened and frustrated. After about a week, we terminated that arrangement and signed on with Gentiva. Absolutely THE best decision... night and day from the first organization. My husband died recently, and the level of care received for the patient and the family, was second to none. They were prompt and always let us know before they came. They were professional, compassionate and always left us at ease. If we called they came. Thank you to Gentiva Hospice, Nurse Kayla, Aid Lacy, Chaplin Aaron, Nurse Jennifer, Nurse Francis, Nurse Beth and Social Worker Erika, for incredible service to our family. We were very blessed by the hospice nurses with Gentiva. Due to our mom's rapid decline, we did not have hospice very long. Jennifer Erickson and Jennifer Harris were very compassionate, patient and understanding with us. They were both very gentle and respectful of our mom. I'm not sure how we would have made it through without them. In less than 24 hours we said goodbye to our mother and gained two new members to our family. Thank you for everything.
