We had the pleasure of using Gentiva of Washington NC and I would like to give a honest review. Overall, they were caring, compassionate and responsive to our needs. They were good about ordering weekly supplies, medications and medical equipment as needed. I especially liked Clark’s Med Equipment of Williamston and mgr Robert. Our NAs were some of the best and were so gentle and kind to my loved one- they taught me so much. The RNs were very knowledgeable and supportive. The word "hospice" brings a different kind of fear to an already overwhelming situation, yet in my case, it also bought an overwhelming kind of peace. My husband was in and out of the hospital the last 2 years of his life all but 4 months total. Gentvia gave him the control of things and for a man especially, he was able to regain some of the dignity that had been lost with his health decline. YOU -Amy- and your company are such a blessing to our office, our patients, our neighbors, our family, our community - ALL of Beaufort County!! Thank you doesn't begin to express our hearts for you all!! You took the time - on a Saturday at that- when I called and left a message of a change in status of a loved one . That meant so much to a scared family who didn’t know what to do. We were so thankful she was able to admitted for services ASAP. Blessings to all of you at Gentiva Hospice of Washington, NC!!
Gentiva Hospice was my family’s care partners for my grandmother’s final days. Chris made sure to answer any questions we had and their services were amazing. They ensured we were comfortable and that she was comfortable. They came quick when she passed and luckily a nurse, Miranda, was at the house to confirm. I highly recommend their services in your time of need!
I wanted to thank Gentiva Hospice for the kindness they showed our family and my daddy on January 24, 2025. Demaris and Victoria went above and beyond in a difficult situation. These two nurses braved a five mile road covered in ice in order to help me get my daddy home so he could be in his own bed around his family. The entire company began the process and quickly got transport and Clark's Medical there so everything was in place for our family and we could give daddy what he needed.
