I recently received the most unprofessional, unethical healthcare experience at Powers healthcare in Hobart, IN. The PA had horrible bed side manners in the ER. I was there 5 hours and she did not review any of my labs or test results with me. She told me I could leave against medical advice since I didn’t agree to the 3rd diagnostic test that she ordered (when the first two were negative). The list goes on and on. It was a horrible experience.
I am extremely upset that they have decided to no longer be a provider with Humana Medicare Advantage Insurance. I have had my doctor for many many years and am told I can no longer see this physician even as a private pay or out of network patient. Is this contract currently being renegotiated? Such disrespect to patients who have been established with their physicians.
