So they want me to wait until my abscessed tooth becomes an emergency before they can put me on the schedule. Nice. “try Iowa city” nah how about help people before they are in tremendous pain. Jesus Christ.
It was my first appointment with Teresa Meierotto. She didn't even show up to say hello, and she was in the building. I was seen by a nurse who wasn't the person I went to see. The nurse asked very personal questions. She kept asking more questions until I told her to stop. Those aren't questions a nurse should be asking. It wasn't a good experience. Teresa simply told the nurse what to do, but she never showed up at the office, and it was my first appointment. Unprofessional.
I tried to check their policy on privacy and it turns out they just share your medical records with anyone. Their CEO Antonio Flores allows anyone, from any of their 5 establishments, to go through your records. I found out they have lawsuits against them for violating privacy laws. I'm getting a lawyer to help me get my records to check the accuracy of them. I'd suggest you all do the same, past and current patients included.
