Very helpful place with kind people
There were a large number of different church members to volunteer, from the community. Very well organized by seemingly professional crew of people. Anyone from Tazwell County was welcomed to be a recipient. Ages of volunteers from the community ranged from high schoolers to 92 years old. The pantry serves clients from 10am until noon every Saturday, unless the Saturday lands on a Saturday. Volunteers are very kind to each other and to the clients. I had not volunteered here since COVID as my wife was medically fragile. She recently passed and I decided to try it out again. Perhaps it was a bad day or I somehow caused offence, but I found the experience cold and unwelcoming and there was no real work for me to perform. Harvest does good work, but it was clear that my service was not needed or welcomed.

The volunteer staff is ANAZING! Everyone involved is a BLESSING!
