Billed over $1800 to transport my grandmother a quarter mile on the UTMC campus.... ridiculous....
The 16 min ride from Magruter Hospital to Firelands Hospital was billed as $6,431 after insurance was $192. I sure Medicare is not picking up the balance. The ambulance was gross and stinky. When they hit a bump it seems it would fall apart. Not sure the driver or the assistant hope and medical experience at all. Next time I will drive myself.
