Community Council is such a tremendous resource and asset to St. Charles County and our underserved residents…they truly have a passion to help and connect folks with much needed services!

Case manager Amanda told my friend who was homeless that they're just a call center and made it look like all she (and coordinated entry) can do is to refer her to other agencies, as if Community Council has no money to help people directly. My friend was never told there were housing programs although community council's website shows this exists. It seems that being homeless and very desperate, as my friend was, was not enough to qualify her for a housing program although I think it should. My friend remained homeless and ... read more
