Overall I have mixed feelings regarding my experience(s) here. For starters, career counseling, last I heard anyway, is a largely unregulated industry. Even you and I could be career coaches if we wanted to. In general, the people who I met with I could tell were well-meaning. The problem was it seemed like they were ultimately out of touch with the realities of certain jobs/career fields anyway as well as job searching. The staff and volunteers truly care and can provide good advice and services. I recommend them whenever the topic of finding jobs comes up.
