The paramedics were awesome and very nice Had to be transported Feb 12 and they were great even though we have problems with the elevator at Housing
If you can avoid using Community Care do it! For the second time in the last three weeks my 85 year old mother was scheduled for a procedure at ACMC. Both times they were over 1 hr and 30 minutes late picking her up pushing back her procedures to when they could fit her in. After fasting for 24 hrs the last thing my diabetic mother needed was for her appointment to be pushed back! Its is rare when we use their services not to have some kind of issue!
Waited at hospital for over 1 hour 30 minutes for transportation back to nursing home. Not the first time that we had to wait for over an hour for transportation. They over book for the number of drivers and vehicles they have.
Today I watched a Female EMT be so unprofessional, lack ethics, as well as demean and violate a client’s privacy made me sick. Unfortunately for this EMT I am 💯 for clients/ patient rights and know the proper protocol to file a formal complaints with the appropriate State Board. The EMT stated “oh this lady” as soon as she walked into the home, proceeded to dismiss a Nurse on scene and made the client sit up and stand, and then proceeded to wheel the client on the gurney, uncovered with only a Bra and undies on out into a p... read more
