For an organization that saves lives, the marketing here is surprisingly careless. The messages feel rushed, impersonal, and way too salesy, like a promo email with “donate” slapped in. It seems more about pushing volume than building trust, and it shows. The communication is confusing, exhausting, and honestly doesn’t inspire generosity at all.
As a person of color; it seems a little disheartening and disappointing to see that the blood bank is supporting the police and cops with ‘blue line’ cookies. Honestly, in this day and age, the last thing anyone would want is to be confronted with police, let alone at a place meant for community and alleged life saving. Very disappointing.
Staff was very friendly and gentle. I will definitely donate again. Great job.
