Welcome to the gulag! AKA Staff are petty and engage in retaliatory behaviors. As soon as you arrive, staff like to tell you how much they care. Their caring comes at a price - if you don't act in a way they find acceptable, then staff lock you out of your room, limit access to items and areas you have mandated access to, talk down to you and antagonize you. It's like they forget that they are caring for vulnerable adults who are doing their best in spite of their mental illness. No grace is given. I would hate to be a child... read more
Staff lock us out of our rooms if they don't like us. Administration increases amount of money owed at the end of your stay if you have any type of disagreement with floor staff.
I have requested since the day my son was admitted to this facility to have a visit which is limited to only 1 hour. The staff stated that wouldn't be able to happen until a week after he has been there a full week. He was admitted on 12-22-2025 and now it is 01-22-2026, they stated it will have to be approved by the social worker and all the team. They will not allow me to visit my son.
