Community 1st Credit Union is very unhelpful. They were extremely difficult to work with for the short time that they had my car loan. The employees were rude, condescending and unhelpful. Not to mention the interest rate was ridiculous. First placed I called to refinance got me an interest rate half of what these idiots offered.
Community 1st took me for $19,200 after they wired my money out of State for the down payment on another property then 3 weeks later told me they don't loan on out-of-state properties. Lost my $19,200 and they ruined my credit. Be very careful doing business with C 1st and make sure if you do you have a very good attorney. Anyone wants to hear more about them feel free to conact me.
never experienced an attitude from any bank I have an account,except this one. I have an online account set up to pay my car loan every month. the account goes through western union an I was never made aware that this bank does not accept transactions through western union. Do not use this credit union. They are unethical, rude, and non-responsive. My 65 yr old friend tried to buy $66K condo the was being sold by Community 1st Credit Union. The co-signed Purchase and Sale Agreement contained a financing contingency. The sale of the property was contingent upon the buyer receiving financing from a lender. My friend's lending institution informed him that the Condo was not eligible for conventional financing because too many of the units in the complex were over 30 days past due on their HOA dues... read more
