Love getting my hair cut by Annie. She always does a great job and my hair is thick and not the easiest to work with. The wash chairs are also so comfortable. Lovely little spot in the neighborhood.
Read the negative reviews! I chose this salon because I'm Asian-American thought they would be great at working with my natural hair texture. I asked for a choppy, short cut and showed several references. They didn't really take my texture into account, only cutting it wet and doing IMO a terrible job at making it "choppy." I also like asking my stylists their opinions on my cut... maybe I lean heavily American and want my stylist to have a POV. Is it cultural politeness thing? This was my first time at this salon, I can't speak for others, but I wouldn't recommend Annie. First, during the consultation, she doesn't listen to what the client wants to do,she pushes what she wants to do. I was trying to explain to her that I booked a touch-up highlight for full head and asked for about the same amount as last time. But,before I could finish speaking, she interrupted with "Yeah, yeah, yeah,I know that " and clearly wasn't listening.
