Yesterday I had septoplasty surgery with Dr Angela Paddack at Longmont United Hospital Day Surgery. The entire process was excellent from preop to postop! Felt very prepared preoperatively with written and electronic information as well as verbally at doctors appointment and preop phone call. The day of surgery went very smooth from walking in the door to exiting. Felt safe, well cared for, friendly and knowledgeable staff! Dr. Bethany Mensink is the surgeon who operated on me recently. She is an excellent surgeon, as well as an outstanding human being. Her kindness and compassion were obvious to me throughout my surgical experience. I highly recommend her for all surgery needs! She is well worth the drive!
I have now had two surgeries in the day-surgery center and this is where you want to be taken care of. The surgery process is so simple and comforting from weeks leading up to and after surgery. The nurses are incredible and efficient while being compassionate. Their technology is extremely advanced including communication throughout their digital operations and on to the surgical tools (robots) they use in the OR. I had my gallbladder out, and had a wonderful experience with Dr. Donahue and his team, especially nurse Beckey. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, and caring. Beckey even took the time to send me a card post surgery, which touched my heart. While surgery is expensive and sucks to have to go thru, I would do it again if I had to with this amazing team of people!
