Posting on behalf of my kid, who went to Urgent Care in September. Literally only had vitals taken and a 5 minute evaluation with a Dr. and we continue to get medical bills. Just got a bill for $922 for an office vist with a provider as a new patient. Previous bill was $473 for facility charge. The Patient Relations Department phone number provided in previous reviews is no longer a valid phone number, and the billing department is unable to provide us with a comprehensive bill that includes all charges for that day. Very disappointed. I walked over to ask if they could help change a bandaid in the middle of my back (I recently had a mole removed). They said they cannot help. Any decent human being should have been able to help. Especially a nurse. But they simply shrugged.
The staff at this urgent care clinic were phenomenal! So kind and so knowledgeable. They cared for my mom with altitude sickness and myself with a knee injury. Highly recommend!
Avoid this hospital unless it’s truly life-threatening. I went there during an emergency, received X-rays and a back brace and was immediately sent to the hospital in Frisco. For the radiographs, a back abrace and evaluation by a doctor, I’m being charged $17,000. On top of that, the receiving hospital in Frisco billed me another $15,000 for just 3 hours of care. Unless your injury is life threatening, avoid! Payed $3500 for a “non incision hand surgery” when i broke my wrist. All they did was x-ray me, look at the results, and be like “yeah that looks broken” and gave me a brace. I paid for the x-ray and brace separately, along with a separate office visit charge. What did they even do???? I could have gone to Walmart and gotten a brace for $20 and saved myself over $4000 dollars.
