Common Grounds Coffee Cozy Cafe -- local business. Atmosphere perfect for a university town. Many students and adults working on laptops, reading, or chatting with friends. Nice! The drinks are great.
yay Not a super big amazing store, but it is nice and cozy and comfortable. The service is nice. It's a great place to hang out with friends, catch up with people, talk with friends, or just study.
High quality independent coffee bar If you want to escape Starbucks and support a family owned local coffee shop with high quality coffee and espresso drinks, teas, cocoas, and other libations, and an eclectic selection of music and merchandise, comfortable seating and wireless internet, this is your spot. If you like chain stores and the color green, Starbucks has plenty of stores in Davis, too.
No matter how many times I go back, it disappoints me every time This is the one coffee shop I now absolutely refuse to go to, and I live across the street! Why? Because I have never ordered a decent drink there (except an italian soda, but that's not too hard to pull off). I've tried their mochas, white chocolate mochas, chai, vanilla latte...probably the worst drinks I've ever had. It gets so hot in there I sometimes have to leave. Catering While I don't have much experience with their cafe, I highly recommend their catering services. They have a huge selection for reasonable prices and everything is so delicious. They do the set-up and clean-up very quickly and quietly so that you can deal with all of the last-minute chores for your event. Such a relief! Also, if you choose to order tea and/or water bottles, they will only charge you for the number that you use, rather than the quantity you request.
