This company is a total scam. We got our current bill and had $68.00 of ADDITIONAL charges. When I called they said oh yes your leaf bags outside the bin were $10.00 EACH! Really no notice and the customer service gal told me anything that does not fit inside the can $10.00. I told her I would be looking at getting a different vendor and she said they are cracking down on things outside the bins because it's causing them addition dump runs! I thought that was the business...trash,?
Way over priced compared to local trash service companies. It has gone down hill ever since they purchased Monument. Charging $25 (per can) plus a $5 fuel surcharge for a grand total of $55 for picking up cans after cancelling my account is an absolute joke. Keep your money going to local companies.
Another update- due to a new business built in town our dumpster had to move apparently. There was no communication about this they just showed up and took it and left one that smelled so bad we couldnt even use it with maggots included in our parking lot. The man went back and forth with me about where he wanted it in our parking lot. After complaining and getting a dumpster that smelled better she reached out and said they'd be sending over a new price sheet, they would move the dumpster back and that we shouldnt have had ... read more
Republic Services is not disability friendly. They have started putting out notices that you have to have your trash cans within two feet of the road because of their supposed new trucks. Their trash cans are large and hard to haul down a long driveway in rural areas. My neighbors and myself put the cans as close as we can and get letters if they are 3 feet compared to two. They took over a service that happily helped it customers and they prefer to hound and criticize and make it hard for those who already struggle with lif... read more
