Lovely old pub. Nice meals at reasonable prices. Showers available
What a great little stopover for the night. Flat green grass sites. Locals are friendly. Pub is fantastic and great meals. The restaurant was busy with locals too so that is a good sign. Pub staff are great, toilets and showers are clean and hoy water. Yes there is trains and highway noise but still worth the stop. It's free to camp but do the right thing and at least have a drink and support local business. Thanks Curlewis 🤩 NB I rated rooms 1 star as not applicable we camped on lawn area
Newly renovated clean and tidy accommodation, with free caravan camping next door. Great tasting housemade food, including pies, slices, cakes and scones. Pizza's are delicious and the mushroom gravy is the bomb. This pub serves up some of the coldest, crisp beer I've ever had. All round its five thumbs up from us
