Took my dog there for a same day urgent care appointment and all of the staff was wonderful! The front desk staff, vet techs, and veterinarian were all super friendly, thorough, and treated my pup so well!
Recently established care here with a new puppy we brought home. Everyone we encountered from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out was kind, helpful, and thorough. Everyone took their time to answer my questions and make sure I understood what they were recommending for my pup and why. In a world where everything seems rushed and you feel like a number, I appreciated the change of pace.
When we made the appointment for Toot the cat to be seen, we were charged $180 just for the doctor to come in, look at him, take his temp and listen to his heart. When I asked why the excessive charge i was told because the place was just like an urgent care visit. My god, I could have gone to an actual emergency hospital and received more care. I feel that all they are in business for, is the money. I will never return to this place. That was a lot of money for 5 minutes of the Dr's. time
Doctors Moss and Wicklund are the best vets we’ve ever seen. Dr. Wicklund’s gentle bedside manner extends to humans as well and I can’t imagine a better person to deliver devastating news. The entire clinic staff is full of compassionate people who are so attentive to mitigating feline clinic anxiety that I was surprised to see dogs are treated here too, and with just as much respect and love. I can’t say enough to thank and praise Commencement Bay Animal Hospital for the excellent care they give to our fur babies.
