Asked multiple times for no massage, was given 2 separate massages even though I said no. I’m incredibly sensitive and have a fractured knee so it really was hurting and when I flinched from pain, she just laughed at me (twice) very uncomfortable situation. Made fun of me (in English so there was absolutely no misunderstanding). Will not be returning obviously.
We had a great experience today! I took my two daughters with me to have pedicures and gel manicures. The staff were all so kind and attentive. The service was quick, but meticulously done. This made my young son happy to not have to wait on us too long. The space is clean and organized, and they have a menu full of great options. We all left with beautiful nails and toes.
I really want to love Comfy Nail Zone since it's close to my house. However, the last three times I've gone I've gotten dip and within 4 days the top coat has started to peel off. This is the only nail salon I've been to where this has happened. For the price, I expect my nails to last two weeks at a minimum. That being said, I've gone in each time to get it fixed (which they do free of charge) and it just starts chipping again within a day or two. I got my nails done elsewhere but stopped in over the weekend to get one nail fixed that had broken, fully expecting to pay for the service. They got me right in on a Saturday, no appointment necessary, did a great job, and didn’t charge me. I was in and out in 20 minutes!
This place used to be my go-to nail salon, but they have since increased their prices to be pretty ridiculous for the services they offer. I recently got a mani/pedi with no polish, and was charged $80 while my nails looked like this when I left - unbuffed, ragged, and dry. They don’t care about you as a customer unless you’re getting an expensive gel manicure with tips and the results of a regular manicure show that.
