Unit appears functional and that is the goal. Tthere were holes left in the ceiling of my garage beyond that ones I said I would take care of. The new unit had a humidistat built into the thermostat, the old humidistat was removed from the inside of the house but the hole was not repaired. Lastly, the secondary water catch pan has a sensor on it to shut off the unit if it fills. The wire was misrouted causing the wire to be spliced over the pan, not sure if that will meet code or not. We have sent our contractor out to Howard's house to patch the holes. We have also hired a new helper for A/C installs who is enthusiastic and great with our customers.
The product was delivered and insataled as explained during sales process by professional delivery team and insatalation team of plumbers and electricians. Overall, I was very satisfied.
Overall an above average experience. My service request went in and I got a call in about 15 minutes. They were at our house the next morning to provide an estimate about an hour after that they installed window units so we wouldn't be uncomfortable. The next day they installed the new unit. My only complaint was the office staff were not to friendly when we had to communicate over a failed code inspection. Oher than that, the service was excellent.

Comfort Temp sales representative was outstanding. He was well preparted and gave me all the facts I needed to make the decision on the final selection of the manufacture and model of the HVAC sytem. He showed me available alternatives, explained rebate options and energy savings. The company's pricing was fair and competitive. The installers installed the system as scheduled. The ductwork test, offered only by Comfort Temp, was informative and saved me the cost of unecessary upgrades to the intake duct recommeded by others.

Installation of air conditioning went as smooth as possible. The three young men that did the actual installation ware quite proficient worked extremely hard with no lunch break until 7 PM. They ran into some problems and handling them fine. Give them a raise in pay ha ha ! Please call me I have noticed a small water leak from the hot water recovery system installation. Excellent -- Owner came out and we discussed options. Chose a SEER 16 system that qualifies for the tax credit. Installed three days later -- three techs spent entire day (redid previous air ducting because they were not pleased with it). Qualified for FPL rebate (which they took off the bill), a manufacturer rebate (which they sent in the paperwork for), and a tax credit for 2010 which I will get next year. Also pulled a permit and the county inspector came yesterday. Very professional outfit. Will use again.
