**Disappointing Experience – Health Concerns Ignored** From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff barely acknowledged us. The clerk seemed more interested in his headphones than in assisting guests. Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. Our room was on the second floor, where the entire hallway reeked of what smelled like cat urine or something equally unpleasant. Breakfast was more like lower cost motel
Check in was anything but welcoming. Gentleman barely spoke to or looked at me. We were traveling with small dog and once in the room she immediately started smelling the corners, evidence of previous dog urination. While the room smelled fine the carpet had multiple stains throughout and was frayed, (dug up) at the threshold of entry door. Cannot believe they would have anyone stay in a room with the carpet in this poor condition. Will suggest to Choice Hotels to have some rooms tiled for customers traveling with pets.
