We stayed for 1 night on a quick stop on Galveston. The hotel has easy access from the main road, and parking was no issue on the night we visited (Tuesday). The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of towels and clean bedding. The only issue we had was that the balcony door didn't lock, but it was a second floor unit, so no big deal! I should have listened to the reviews and not my husband. The hotel room was dirty looking and and a bad smell. Furniture was coated in dust and mirror in room was covered in a film. The baseboards were removed and never put back on. The outside bottom of the fridge was rusted out. My husband went downstairs to get us coffee and there was just two tiny pots that were almost empty, no half & half. The Saturday night we stayed the bar was not opened as advertised.
