Just spoke with Edgar at Comfort Suites, near the University of Florida in Gainesville. He was the kindest sweetest, most polite person I've ever spoken to in customer service. He was able to help me change my reservation and give me peace of mind for my child's move in to the University of Florida. Whoever Edgar's boss is, he needs a race and a promotion! We decided to stay here overnight to get some rest before continuing on our drive. Upon arriving the room seemed fine, but after inspecting it further I was disgusted . There appeared to be dried blood spots on the door frame, some on the bathroom floor and the mattress had a huge soaked in stain. I immediately went to the front desk to ask to change rooms and was met with unfortunately we could not because they had overbooked the hotel. Room was clean. Breakfast as far as eggs etc was bland but ok. It did have many other things to choose from. Pool was cloudy but looked clean. Hotel stay was quiet. I’d stay again.
