I arrived about 50 minutes early, but the reservation clerk insisted that I wait until the check-in time, although the room was ready and unoccupied. Upon check-in I was told that no parties were allowed, even though I am a single senior guest who reserved a room for one night. This was not the first time they stressed this. I reserved a room last year and was told that some local "hicks" threw a party and caused damages. I felt insulted, and will take my business to another hotel with better hospitality in the future. Looks older on the outside but super nice, modern and cozy on the inside, room was very clean. Heated pool was a nice break from the winter.
Our go to place every year when visiting Boone/Banner Elk. Always clean and nice staff. The full breakfast this year was the the very best ever. The lady and her husband do a great job of prepping. The orange juice was even good and never happens anywhere!!
