The staff was very friendly. The hotel sits off Hwy 49 than most on that route. The only downer was the train tracks are behind the hotel about 4 blocks

The only good thing about this hotel was the friendly office staff upon arriving. My family and I spent 1 night here after a whole day of driving. Hotel options were limited as everything else was booked. I felt so gross upon entering the room. The walls had areas that were poorly patched as if someone had punched holes in the walls. The dead bolt seemed worn and outdated. The bathroom reeked of vomit and the floor tile was cracked which concerned me about lacerating a foot on it. Pros: it was easy to navigate back to the interstate. The room was clean and maintained. The staff was efficient at check in and I would give them 5 stars. Cons: the location felt a bit sketchy. We sat in the parking lot looking at other places to go. In the end we decided to brave it. The lobby smelled like something good trying to cover the smell of wet feet. The room itself was hard to get into (the lock was finicky). The room was well cleaned- but the cleaning product scents were so strong it gave me a headache. The pool... read more
