I spent *last* night in a Sleep Inn located in Charlotte, NC, that was, well, HORRENDOUS. I got in WAY too late and tired to find new lodgings, so I survived the night, and then reported that facility to the relevant North Carolina government agencies. Safe to say I was on edge coming here...and my fears were GROUNDLESS. First off, the bed is PERFECT! The room well kept, and then there is Santana at the front desk. She deserves a raise! Would give it 4.5 stars if I could. The rooms Were nice and clean, beds were comfortable and location was near food, gas, and Walmart and felt safe. My complaints were minimal but 1) why is breakfast only until 9am? Not sleeping in if you want to get the free breakfast I guess. 2) when we got to our room we noticed the interstate noise right away. Stayed here one night on our road trip back home after our family vacation. Lobby and room were both very clean, beds were super comfy (I think they’ve gotten new mattresses because I don’t remember them being quite this comfy when we stayed here a year ago, but last night I slept so well!). Good breakfast in the morning too. Will definitely stay again the next time we road trip in this direction!
We stayed at this location 6/26 for 2 nights. We were very pleased. We were in town for our son’s wedding. Front desk staff were very helpful and courteous. Check in and out was quick. The room was clean. We had a 2 bed queen room. Bathroom had large long counter with one sink. Good shower with good water pressure. There were 2 small issues that were quickly resolved.
