We have been using Comfort Makers for years. With old houses and new technology, nothing ever works perfectly the first time, but these are the folks you want to work with. And if you are working with home warranties, you will hamper any good service because of your contract. If you want reliable A/C service, dump the contract and talk to them directly. You won't be disappointed.
I have first American home warranty which was great with replacement of my ac unit, but comfort makers miss diagnosed initially and adding a booster to bad compressor which could have caused fire but my breaker tripped. Then stated that breaker was the problem. After electrician clarified it was ac unit it took another week to send new technician who stated in 15 mins that I needed me ac unit because compressor was poor and tripping breaker.
