Comfort Keepers has been a god send to us since my mom broke her hip and cannot be left alone now. The peace of mind knowing someone can be here with her when we need to go out is invaluable! She loves visiting with Jean and it is great for her to have someone else to talk to since she does not get out much.
Our family began with agency support for a loved one when Abundant Blessings was in business. Abundant Blessings was fantastic. Fast forward to the time that Comfort Keepers bought Abundant Blessings and the culture and leadership of Comfort Keepers was not in alignment with what we were accustomed to and needed. It has been a year since I posted this original review. Our experience continues to be GREAT. We have a caregiver coming every afternoon which has enriched my dad’s life beyond measure. He has adjusted to this new schedule very well. Having a daily routine is really important for him & he looks forward to their visits. The kind & reliable care they provide helps him maintain a sense of independence (& gives me some much needed peace of mind!). The caregivers from Comfort Keepers have become our “family” over the past months. They have become friends with my husband laughing with him when he is feeling his social self and understanding him when he is having tough day. As we have had a long winter with each of us having our own health issues, the “girls” brought sunshine into our home and allowed us to feel that we were part of the world outside. We are so thankful for Comfort Keepers!
Words cannot express how much Comfort Keepers helped Charles and me. The caring, physical attention that Charles received was wonderful and the support I received helped me to keep going, to face the inevitable. Thank you Comfort Keepers.
