Comfort keepers scheduling is terrible. I was informed Amy was so easy to work with . I was a new client and had care givers for my Uncle who had a mild Stroke and needed some care. At first I thought I had the right coverage for him but it wasn't enough. SoI called Amy scheduler and inform her I wanted more days and longer hours gave her over 7 days to accommodate the new request and the week the new schedule was to start the first day I got a call 45 minutes before shift that the Care giver had to leave 2 hours early do to... read more

This is by far one of the worst companies to work for clearly they don’t care about their clients let alone their employees they don’t know what the clients need or how things are actually supposed to be done they are very difficult to work with their hours. Don’t make any sense. Their job descriptions are not accurate. You’re more so working for a maid service and pest control. Instead of actually caring for the elderly or disabled. Comfort Keepers was the second caregiving service we have used and we're glad we made the switch. My elderly father was very particular about people he felt comfortable around, and CK allowed us to change caregiver staff until we found the right fit for his personality. The two caregivers he had, one woman and one man, were wonderful: addressing his daily needs such as feeding and hydrating and helping with tasks. We have been using Comfort Keepers for nearly 4 years now to assist in the care of our mother. Their workers provide excellent care of our mother and keep us informed of any changesin care givers and reach out to us if we forget to schedule care on her regularly scheduled days.

Great company to work for. I have felt well-matched with all of my clients. The flexibility of choosing your schedule and sense of autonomy is a major plus. The relationships, wisdom and experience I have garnered from my time working for Comfort Keepers is invaluable. Often times, it is difficult to find truly "rewarding" work, but I have seldom felt anything but rewarded in my time working with Comfort Keepers.
