Comfort keepers is horrible. They treat their employees and patients the same. Horrible, cut hours, take caregivers away, conditions are not great. Comfort keepers would be better off with new staff. Employees were given bribes to write great reviews to boost the company and increase business. They have high turnover rate. Clients know what comfort keepers do and how they treat employees and clients. They try to teach employees a lesson by cutting pay, hours, randomly changing caregivers.
My mom's Comfort Keepers caregiver, Tammy is such a blessing! She goes far and beyond to make sure my mom is cared for and happy. She came to us after mom had a stroke that affected her language/speech and she was/is patience with learning how to understand mom. We are thankful for her!
For approximately three years, my mother received care from Comfort Keepers caregivers. From the moment I met their scheduler, she inspired confidence. Their caregivers are very capable and kind. Much less turnover here than at some other agencies. By the time my mom passed, these folks had become family friends: they loved her, she loved them. I couldn’t be more pleased.
Comfort Keepers has been wonderful, first with my stepfather and then with my mom. Laurie was so patient and helpful and responsive to all my mother's various requirements and my eleventh-hour phone calls, and sent some wonderful caregivers to us, who were all very tolerant of my mother's ever-changing wishes.
