Stayed here 13 days ago on the way out West and just returned today as we head home. Great place. Near the highway but not the traffic. Pool for kids. Quiet and clean. Got a last minute deal under $100!
The desk clerk was a delight. She greeted each guest with a friendly smile and sweet disposition. The room was ok. Bed was comfortable enough. Shower and tub were good. We had trouble with door not closing well, but over all a good stay.
Booked a room here and at check in we were asked if we had pets and we told them no (because we had no pets). On the screen we saw that a “non refundable pet fee” was being charged. We asked that it be removed and the worker swiped the card with no intention of removing it before charging the card. He said it was for things that we had with us. Keep in mind, no pets with us. Hotel smells like dirty mop water. Location from I40 is good. Good food choices around are too. Bathroom door doesn’t shut. Fridge isn’t cooling. Microwave doesn’t work. But the AC blows ice cold and the bed was comfy, and that’s all that really matters. Shower liner inside tub is cracked. Not very aesthetically pleasing but it got the job done.
