Close to convention center! Clean, big rooms.
No redeeming qualities about this place, no cleaning services, the front desk staff is rude as is my usual experience with Midwest people. The room is messy, the hallways are messy and they try to play it off as “renovations”. Don’t bother with this place
By far my favorite hotel to stay at. They front desk people are amazing, fun to talk to, and treat me like family. I come here to Des Moines every week and I refuse to stay anywhere else! Also the view over the river is amazing!
was in town for the fair and had a horrible stay at this hotel. The bathroom was filthy, the beds were dirty with stained sheets and hair, and there was no ice machine or vending available. The entire place felt unsanitary and neglected. A staff member named Porscha was the only bright spot — she was kind, professional, and genuinely apologetic about the condition of the hotel.
