As "ok" of a spot as can be. The hotel appears clean and im sure is for the most part but lots of built up grim all around. At the pool I counted about 30 cockroaches so I assume this place is crawling with them. I didnt see any in my room I should note. Breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly. Do not like that the back "Emergency door" did not close. This obviously leads to safety concerns as anyone can access the hotel through the side door. I do say if the price is at $60 a night this is a good value.
Room was reserved with requests that were not fulfilled and toilet paper dispenser was missing which later front desk did nothing about. Pool area was always running out of towels, pool water was gritty and saturday morning pool area taken over by an outside swimming class. Area had a qt and whataburger nearby and some other things such as Walmart and HEB less than 3 miles away.
