I stayed here from March 15 to 16th. Customer service for check-in through Marianne was amazing... However when I got into room...which the only available room was a king size bed (extra money)..my service dog was allowed. I took photos of the room before using it... There was a must in the air..hard to breathe... Curtains were damaged and wouldn't close enough for privacy with a view of the front entranceway...there were stains on the end table...Bed had long hairs in it...so used my own sleeping bag to sleep on top of bed.... read more
My wife and I spent one night at Comfort Inn & Suites in Collingwood. But, despite spending just one night on our March/2026 visit, we have also stayed at the Comfort Inn on a few occasions over the years. While it is not a luxury hotel by any means, it does still provide tremendous value and, within its class and style of hotel, it does things well. The people are very friendly. Terrible hotel that is rundown. Also, they don’t bother maintaining the walkways and entrances in the winter so patches of ice are present and I slipped on one and fell on the cement. I banged up my knee and scraped my hand and injured my wrist which required a trip to the hospital. When I reported the incident to the front desk, I was ignored and not even offered any first aid for my bleeding hand or ice for my injuries. I filled out a report at my own insistence.
