Jamie was great as usual! So friendly...helpful...genuinely a nice person. The hotel is lucky to have her. Always will stay there when in Columbus area. Thank you again Jamie!
The hotel staff is super friendly. I don't like that the breakfast is served on foam plate. I'm aware that this might be usual for budget hotel but couldn't they switch to paper plate even? Foam plate is very sketchy to use on hot stuff because microplastic and such. The room is great. There are many restaurants, fast food, grocery nearby so it's very convenient.
Booked 2 rooms with Expedia. One smelled like smoke and the other had the bathtub handle laying broken in the tub. Pool was closed. Was told to get a credit or refund I had to be the one to contact Expedia and of course Expedia says the hotel is supposed to be the one to contact them. Save your time and book at Hampton. I will now file a charge back through my Amex. Terrible way to so business.
This was one of the best places I've stayed at. Very clean, yes they are in the middle of renovations but that just means the owner is upgrading to keep up on it. We had an issue with our first room but was immediately taken care of and moved to another room. Breakfast is great as well. Melissa - she's wonderful, very nice and comforting!!! Enjoyed speaking with her during our stay.
