No elevator they knew two weeks in advance didnt inform us husband handicapped no accomodations for an alternative.No housekeeping the majority of the time.Bagged up own garbage put outside room to be picked up.no towel replacement re used wet towels or toilet paper.No hot water for a shower in the morning.Complained no compensation pretty much tough out of luck .Do not ever stay here horrible customer service.Also shut breakfast down early.Many other better places to stay but not here.I will spread the word.

I stayed here during my road trip and was really impressed with how clean and comfortable the room was. It had everything I needed to get a good night's sleep, and the free breakfast in the morning was a great way to fuel up before heading out to see the sights. The staff were super friendly and made the check-in process really easy, which I always appreciate after a long day of driving. Comfort Inn & Suites Rapid City South - Mt Rushmore Gateway

We came back from a full day of hiking to find our door wide open. There were new towels and garbage was taken out, so it was evident that housekeeping may have left our door open. Luckily, nothing was missing. Also there may be an opportunity for better cleaning. One of our beds had orange and red stains on the sheets/blanket, stains on chair, etc. I will say the location was great for spending the day in Black Hills/Custer State Park and still being in downtown Rapid.
