There were some roaches in the stairwell otherwise I had a good stay & good breakfast at the comfort inn. Clean rooms and friendly staff.
After traveling all over the southwest, my wife booked a room for us to arrive in and get settled for a highly-anticipated evening in Santa Fe. We got to the front desk and the price jumped from what they quoted to 2.5 times higher. They claimed she incorrectly reserved the room for a Monday, which is b.s. We said to hell with it and got on somewhere else. Definition of crooks. I don't think I'll ever stay at a Comfort inn ever again. I would give 0 stars, if possible.
I spotted quite a large number of cockroaches right in front of the building, along with a staff member (?) spraying down and deep cleaning a pile of items right by the entrance. This is not a good look for a hotel. Luckily, I did not see any roaches in the room I stayed in, but I would be cautious when booking here. The staff at the front desk were rather rude and dismissive as well.
Great spot with clean comfy rooms, pool and good breakfast.
