I really hate it when you get to your room and the AC is off! I get it you're trying to save money but when it takes hours to get sort of comfortable it doesn't make for an enjoyable stay! Also I've never seen a room without night stands, that's just really weird!

We did get an early check in, after having to leave and come back. While waiting our turn to check in, the woman who checked us in was talking in a sharp tone to someone on the phone that there were no cancellations allowed at all. We soon found out why. We only stayed because of their no cancellation policy. I tried to get a room near the parking lot where I could see my vehicle, but that couldn't be done, apparently. The room never cooled down, even with ac set at 60 degrees, which is the coolest setting. The evening was 90 degrees, which made sleeping extremely difficult. It was hot and stuffy and humid. The humidity in the room was due to the bathroom having no way to expel steam from the shower. The hallways were no better. Lastly, it was not a safe area at all! The gentlemen who were at the front desk were helpful and friendly but the hotel sucked.

Part of this review isn't the fault of the Comfort Inn we stayed at on Garey Avenue in Pamona, CA. The whole town has issues and the locals from the surrounding cities will tell you that. On the way back to the motel on one of the two nights we stayed there, my wife and I stopped at the liquor store just two blocks away to grab a bottle of wine, and on the sidewalk we parked alongside, where my wife stepped out, there was human feces on the sidewalk.
