I mad a mistake and chose the wrong dates. I noticed immediately. called comfort inn new river. talked to Vikki she said no problem she can cancel just call Priceline first. OK I call Priceline they say they talked to Vikki she refused the cancelation. I call Big Vik back while I have Priceline on the phone. I have two phones and Vikki on one and Hakash from Priceline on another they just yell over each other. Horrible business practices. Do not trust. The lady at the desk said the owners have horrible policies herself
We walked into Comfort Inn New River Gorge without a reservation for an impromptu nightly stay. Being from SC and traveling through, we knew nothing about the area. The front desk manager was polite and friendly and Floyd, the assistant, was amazing. He offered strong recommendations for dinner, local swimming, and a beautiful sunset. He was a wealth of information and we followed his recommendations with great success. The room was clean, location was great, and price was right!
Room was clean and tidy, location was great. They actual stay itself was great ... almost. My only reason I am putting a 1 star is because of the absolute abhorrent service I recieved checking in. Vickie, I believe her name was, was considerably rude and huffy when I had to pull up my information to check in, which I admit, took a minute or 2 to pull up, and was met with, and I quote, "Why didn't you have this ready when you arrived?"
