The breakfast was hardly "awesome," but it was palatable. Cook yer own waffles, eggs (powdered, probably) bacon sausage, biscuits, bagels, english muffins, toast, yogurt etc. Rooms were well maintained, clean and quiet. I would stay again.
I would not suggest staying here until they do a renovation. Pluses: checkin was quick and easy. Breakfast was better than average. Minuses: anything about the room other than the bed and pillows.
If I could give a zero star I would. Booked a room there for 1 night. We were driving from Oregon to drop my son off at college in Weed. Went to go check in and “oops” they deleted our reservation and gave our room away. Angry is putting it lightly. I am so disappointed. We had to drive all the way BACK to Oregon as there were no other places to stay that weekend. Didn’t get to say goodbye or spend time with my son. Shame on you Comfort Inn!!!!!
Stayed one night, booked two rooms, one room smelled like wet dog. Kept window open until the 18 wheelers parked in front of the hotel on the street and ran their A/C all night, pool was a solid no go, cold and water bugs. Not a location I would recommend...
Hotel clerks need to be more helpful and not act as if their being put out to check us in or out. Evening clerk was the worse.
