This hotel excels in every area, from check-in and room quality to the property’s appearance, staff, and breakfast. We had a very enjoyable stay at the Comfort Inn in Elizabeth City. The room was ok. The bed was squeeky. When taking a shower, the water ran all over the floor. Curtain is too short. The breakfast was good. Parking lot access was kind of sketchy. Lots of dust and grime build up on vents. There was a very off scent in our room. It smelled like someone had been smoking pot. Lots of people hanging out in the parking lot. We did like the night light that is part of the hair dryer. The lady caring for the buffet was kind and did a great job!

I would recommend strongly that you not stay here. The area is a bit dicey. The rooms are in sad shape. Our bath/shower shot more water straight out onto your calf then out the showerhead. Someone had taken silicone and applied it liberally over most of the bath plumbing. The building is 5 levels with 1 I've machine for the entire building, on the 5th floor. After all the workmen fill their coolers out will be empty. Cold water dispenser, labeled in the lobby is empty. Careful of the pot holes in the parking lot that could s... read more
