Great Bartender Here Located in a great location, this place carries an extensive selection of Western micro-brew beers. They also make a mean martini.
Washington Inn While the hotel is interesting in appearance, the lack of parking and location make it low on my list of hotels to revisit. The air conditioner in our room blew out lukewarm air, and when this was reported to the desk clerk, he informed us this was an "ongoing problem." Since there was no way to get a breeze through the room, we were awake most of the night because it was so hot and stuffy. Comfy and affordable It's always a plus when you find a place that you get your moneys worth.....this is one of them. Close to lots of shopping and entertainment, this place was a bargain and it has all the amenities to boot!! A sizeable room with two queen beds, fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker, big TV w/ free HBO, iron/board and usual am/fm alarm and continental breakfast (hey, I'll take a free breakfast anytime); this place has it all and it WON'T burn a hole in your pocketbook.
Great Deal We stayed at the Country Inn around Valentine's Day and got a great deal. They sold us a package which include a suite with jacuzzi, chocolates and champagne and dinner for two at TGI Fridays next door. All was around $80.00 The room was nice. It was clean and there was continental breakfast. It was a nice stay.
Fell in Love! I met my husband in this hotel on 4th of July weekend in 1997 and we have been together ever since. We go back all the time and we love it. Stay here you never know you might meet your future husband!
Love this place this is good for singles, kids and families. It has large accomodating rooms that are clean, pretty but not too fancy. The staff is eager to help out, and the service is wonderful. I would come back
I love this hotel Every time I travel I try to stay in a holiday express. Their staff is always friendly and professional. They are quick to get you whatever it is that you need. They work with you on check in and check out times. The rooms are always clean. And the pools are very nice.
Best Hotel in Town The Marriott is an atrium-style hotel located far from the airport but close to shopping and business destinations on the north side of Cedar Rapids. In addition to guest rooms, suites, indoor pool, and its own restaurant, it has excellent banquet facilities. We recently hosted a wedding reception there and the service was top-notch. Good value for visiting with kids This is a good family value. The suites are big enough to sleep a couple of kids in the front room, and kids love making their own waffles for breakfast. There are cookies at bed-time, too. No restaurant on site, but there are several in the neighborhood.
